Land Deed - Simon Miller to Thomas Arnold (including Power of Attorney)

Know all men by these presents that I, Symon Miller, of Sitting Burne Parish in the County of Rappak., have sold & letover unto Thomas Arnold of the same parish and county, twenty acres of land & further I, the said Symon Miller, doe confirm & warrant the sale of the said land from all persons whosoever to the said Thomas Arnold as followeth to him & his heirs forever, be it more or less, it being for a valuable consideration already received hand by me, Symon Miller, beginning upon a white oak butting upon Robt. Paine's corner tree and lot right across the ridge to ____ Savage's line.

For true performance whereof, I have hereunto set my hand & seale this 13th day of January 1679.

Know all men by these presents that I, Simon Miller, of the County of Rappak., doe constitute & appoint my true & loving friend, Adam Wofendale, to be my true and lawfull attorney for me & in my ____ & to acknowledge a small parcell of land unto Thomas Arnold of the same county & what my said attorney shall act & doe in the ____, shall stand in full force & virtue, as if I my selfe were originally present.

As witness, my hand and seale this 24th of January 1679.
