Marriage Bond for Egbert Q. Arnold and Frances F. Green

Know all men by these presents, that we, Egbert Q. Arnold and William W. Long are held and firmly bound unto the Commonwealth of Kentucky, in the sum of One Hundred Dollars, to the payment whereof well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves, our heirs, & c., jointly and severally, firmly by these presents.  Sealed with our seals, and dated this 11th day of Feby 1856.

The condition of the above obligation is such, that whereas a Marriage is shortly intended to be solemnized between the above bound Egbert Q. Arnold and Frances Green, daughter of William Green, of this County.  Now, shall it always hereafter appear that there is no just cause to obstruct the said Marriage, then the above obligation to be void, else to remain in full force and virtue.
