Obituary for Emma (Plummer) Arnold

Mrs. Emma Arnold, 73, of 1109 S. Barker St., died at 4 a.m. Sunday following a long illness.

She was brought to the Murray-Stamper Memorial Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Park Methodist Church. Burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Arnold was born at Stamping Ground, Ky., June 17, 1879, a daughter of P. M. and Betty Plummer. She was married to Robert R. Arnold Dec. 12, 1907 at Bloomington.

Survivors are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. William Lane of Lexington, Ky., and Mrs. Edford Grider, 803 S. Oak St.; two sons, Robert G. of 1303 N. Lee St. and James P. of 805 S. Wright St. and a brother, Louis of Lexington, Ky.

Her parents, a daughter, two sisters and two brothers preceded Mrs. Arnold in death.

She was a member of the Park Methodist Church; Royal Neighbors Lodge 190; Rebekah Lodge 614; Minnehaha Council No. 1, Daughters of Pocahontas and Pearl Harbor Chapter, American War Mothers.
