Obituary for Robert Russell Arnold

The funeral of Robert R. Arnold, 82, of 805 S. Wright St. will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Stamper Memorial Home. The Rev. Samuel J. Buck will officiate, and burial will be in Park Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Arnold, formerly a nurseryman for various Bloomington firms, died Thursday at St. Joseph's Hospital.

Mr. Arnold was born at Georgetown, Ky., Jan. 14, 1878, a son of Bert and Fannie Finney Arnold. He married Emma Plummer Dec. 12, 1907, in Bloomington. She died in 1952.

Surviving are two sons: R. Glenn, 1021 Folsom St.; James, 805 S. Wright St., two daughters, Mrs. Edford Grider, 803 S. Oak St.; Mrs. Edna Lane, Versailles, Ky.; 13 grandchildren. A daughter, two sisters and a brother preceded her in death.

He was a member of Park Methodist Church.
